If I win the cottage, what do I have to pay for?
As a Hospitals of Regina Foundation Home Lottery winner, you are awarded your new cottage free and clear of any encumbrances. After you take title of your new cottage, you will be responsible for the usual costs associated with home ownership.
What about real estate fees? Legal fees?
Real estate fees and legal fees for title transfer are paid for by Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
If I win the cottage, do I get to keep the furnishings?
Yes. The cottage will be awarded with all furnishings, decorating and landscaping.
If I win the cottage, do I have to live in it or can I sell it?
Once a cottage is awarded to a winner and the title is transferred, they do not have to move in. Any prize can be sold if the winner wishes to do so.
